Currently, the National Employment Law Council, comprised of
over 500 members nationwide, manages and presents one annual
national conference. This Annual Conference is held during the
spring of each year, usually at the end of April or the beginning
of May. The first conference was held in Chicago in 1995, and
since has been held in Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles,
Charlotte, and Denver. Of the attendees, each conference has
usually represented a breakdown of approximately 25 percent
in-house and 75 percent outside counsel. In addition to in-house
and outside counsel, NELC's Annual Conferences are regularly
attended by federal judges, members of the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and National Labor Relations Board
(NLRB). The conference for 2008 will be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia on April 30 - May 2, 2008.
